How long have you worked in financial services?
I previously worked within the motor trade for 34 years before being made redundant. Looking for a new challenge, I saw a job as a Mortgage and Insurance Administrator advertised at CD Financial, so I decided to apply, and the rest is history.
What do you love most about your job?
Taking out a mortgage can be daunting for some people, so helping our clients through their journey by keeping them updated takes away some of their worries. When clients are happy, I’m happy too! I also love working and socialising with the team – they’re a fun bunch of ladies.
How do you help clients?
I provide support for our mortgage clients, chasing mortgage lenders, solicitors and insurance providers, keeping clients up to date at every step, helping take the strain out of the mortgage process.
What do you get up to on the weekend?
I’m a big Wolves fan and have had a season ticket for the past 30 years. I’m also Chairman of Shifnal Twinning Association and Vice Chairman of Shifnal Carnival Committee, so a lot of my weekends are spent organising events. I also love to spend time with my family and friends.
